Annual Conference of the Air Care Alliance Hosted by Angel Flight of Georgia At the DeKalb-Peachtree Airport as held on Saturday, April 28, 2001 For your reading pleasure we present here the schedule for our Air Care 2001 Conference!We are proud to announce that this year's annual conference AIR CARE 2001 will be held at DeKalb-Peachtree Airport in Atlanta. Join us for a full day of seminars, speakers, brainstorming, and socializing with your fellow volunteers. This will provide you with a remarkable opportunity to visit with the leaders of public benefit flying organizations from all over the United States and to share with them your ideas and questions. It is all designed to improve every group and every volunteer's ability to help others through aviation. Announced Sunday April 29 8:30 A.M. - Open Meeting of the New Board Registration and Transportation Information: Angel Flight of Georgia will handle your reservations for tie-downs and car rentals at PDK, and dinner. You are responsible for making your hotel reservations. Please complete the attached Registration and Survey Forms as soon as possible. HOTEL INFORMATION : Call and make your reservations as soon as possible. Absolute deadline for the limited number of ACA rate rooms is April 15.W Hotel: A block of rooms has been set aside. When filled, additional rooms will be made available at the special rate subject to availability. The W Hotel is the official conference hotel. Rate $119.00 standard room $139 deluxe room/suite. Reservations: 1-877-W HOTELS Indicate Special Group Rate: "Air Care Alliance /Air Care 2001"/ ACA NOTE: THERE ARE ONLY 30 STANDARD ROOMS AVAILABLE, THEN WE MUST USE DELUXE ROOMS. The deluxe rooms consist of 2 rooms, one sitting and one bedroom with full kitchen. The deluxe rooms come with 2 double beds or a king and would be ideal for roommate-situations. BANQUET INFORMATION: The cost is $55 per person. Please select from either pecan encrusted grouper or spice rubbed NY Strip steak. There will be a cash bar. Cocktail attire.
