We are proud to announce that this year's annual conference AIR CARE 2003 will be held at the Holiday Inn City Centre in Peoria. Once again join us for a full day of seminars, speakers, brainstorming, and socializing with your fellow volunteers and group leaders.
The schedule and registration form with hotel and local transportation information is included below. Please send this link on to all your group leaders and volunteers!
LifeLine Pilots will handle your reservations for the conference, and meals. You are responsible for making your own hotel reservations. TRANSPORTATION:
| For commercial flights, use Peoria/Greater Peoria Regional Airport PIA.
You may take the complimentary Holiday Inn shuttle. When you arrive at the
airport, go to the lower level and use the Holiday Inn City Centre courtesy
phone to call the shuttle to pick up you. They should be there in about 10
minutes. Taxis are available at an approximate cost of $15. |
| If you are planning to fly privately, use the Byerly Aviation FBO at the
Greater Peoria Reg. Airport (PIA), Peoria, IL. Free tie-down service will be
provided by Byerly Aviation. Rental cars are not necessary but if desired
should be reserved directly with individual carriers at the main Airport.
Call Holiday Inn at 309-674-2500 to
arrange shuttle pickup at Byerly. Make sure you specify you are at
the Byerly Business Aviation bldg, next to the main Airport. If you have an
approximate arrival time, some of the LifeLine Pilots staff would be
available to transport you to the Holiday Inn City Centre by prior
arrangement |
| The Holiday Inn has a complimentary shuttle to take you to many of our downtown attractions in Peoria. You are within walking distance of most downtown Peoria restaurants, theatre, antique shops, and clubs. Enjoy. |
HOTEL INFORMATION: Call and make your reservations as soon as possible. (Block held to April 16) Holiday Inn City Centre: A block of rooms has been set aside. The cut-off date for accepting reservations for this room block is Wednesday, April 16, 2003. Reservation requests received after 5:00 p.m. Central on April 16 will be accepted on a space and rate availability basis. Rate: $79.00 single or double occupancy. Reservations: 309-674-2500. We have reserved rooms for both May 2 and May 3 under this special rate. Indicate Special Group Rate: "Air Care Alliance / ACA"
BANQUET INFORMATION: (Optional Event) The cost is $30 per person. Enjoy an informal banquet with the group on Friday at the Weaver Ridge Golf and Country Club. Transportation shuttle will be provided by the Holiday Inn City Centre. Meet in the Hotel lobby for prompt departure at 7:00PM. A second shuttle for late arrivals will be available. Dinner is planned for 7:30.
REGISTRATION: Conference registration fee is $50 for the first person and $30 for each additional person from any group. Send your registration form and check to the address below or fax to 309-697-6541. Please remember to mail your check if you are faxing in your registration.
